Early access

Nola Check is in early access. It reads garage quotes so you can check the details. Live price comparison isn't available yet.

Your uploaded quote

When you upload a quote, it is sent to be read so Nola can show you the charges. The Nola app doesn't save the uploaded file or the details read from it, and none of it goes into the records described below.

Reading the quote relies on service providers that run the app. We don't make claims here about how long those providers may keep data on their own systems.

Measuring early access

To see how early access is used, Nola records when certain steps happen: starting a check, uploading a quote, confirming the details and reaching the early-access screen. Each record holds:

  • a random session ID created in your browser tab, not linked to your name or device
  • the step name and when it happened
  • for uploads, only the file type (image, PDF or other)
  • for confirmations, only whether you corrected anything

The app doesn't fingerprint your device. It sets no cookies of its own; the session ID and a short list of steps are kept in your browser tab's session storage and cleared when the tab closes.

Early-access emails

If you choose to join, Nola stores your email address, when you agreed, and the traffic source in the link you arrived from (for example "tiktok"), if there was one. Your email isn't linked to your quote.

Why we use it

To run, test and improve Nola Check during early access, and to send early-access and product update emails to people who opted in.

Sharing

Nola doesn't sell this information. It is handled by the service providers needed to host and run the app.

How long we keep it

We keep it only as long as needed for early access and the updates you asked for, and delete it when it's no longer needed or when you ask.

Your choices

You can ask Nola for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent to early-access emails.
